Meet our TEAM
John Bauerle Jr. is a well-rounded passionate bowler with a deep commitment to the sport, having participated in tournaments and league play for many years. His extensive experience and love for bowling have not only made him a respected figure on the lanes but also a mentor to younger generations.
Currently the head coach of Roncalli High School's boys bowling team, John has dedicated nearly two decades to coaching and developing youth bowlers, instilling in them the skills, discipline, and sportsmanship necessary to succeed both on and off the lanes. His leadership and coaching have been instrumental in shaping the futures of countless young athletes, helping them to achieve their personal bests and fostering a lifelong love for the sport.
John’s dedication to bowling extends beyond coaching. His significant contributions to the sport, both as a player and a mentor, have been widely recognized, earning him esteemed inductions into the local and state Bowling Halls of Fame. These honors are a testament to his impact on the bowling community, his unwavering commitment to excellence, and his role in promoting the sport at various levels. Whether he's competing, coaching, or contributing to the bowling community, John Bauerle Jr. continues to be a driving force in the sport he loves.
Nikki is no stranger to bowling. Having started at the age of 6, she has dedicated nearly her entire life to the sport. Over the years, Nikki has experienced bowling from various perspectives: as an avid bowler of leagues and tournaments, a high school coach, a bowling center manager, a tournament manager, a league secretary, and a youth league coordinator. Her deep passion and multifaceted experience make her a true ambassador of the sport.
Nikki is currently coaching the Roncalli High School Girls bowling team and is the youth coordinator for the Saturday Morning Youth League at All Star Bowl. We are extremely grateful to have Nikki on the Bowlindy team!

A seasoned and accomplished coach, Rob Pero, Jr. has an extensive background in youth bowling. He served as the former head coach of the Southport High School Boys Bowling Team and currently leads the Franklin Central Girls Bowling Team as the Head Coach and Program Lead. Rob is actively involved in several bowling programs, including Expo SMYL, Junior Masters, IMSB, and offers individual lessons as a Bronze Level Certified Coach. Recently, he was appointed as the IHSB Indianapolis East Conference Coordinator, reflecting his leadership and expertise in the sport. Beyond coaching, Rob is deeply committed to promoting youth bowling through a strong social media and web presence, helping to grow the sport and engage the community.
