Wes Kidwell served on the ABC Board of Directors from 1969 to 1989, when he became a Life Member. As the longtime Indianapolis Bowling Association secretary-treasurer, he was instrumental in helping Indianapolis obtain the 1974 ABC Tournament.
The retired owner-manager of Kidwell Auto Electric Co. and past potentate of the Murat Shrine Temple, Kidwell was elected into the Indianapolis Bowling Association Hall of Fame in 1974 and the Indiana BA Hall of Fame in 1979.Â
